A circular vibrating screen is a screening machine employed in processes involving particle separation. In particle processes screening refers to separation of larger from smaller particles in a given feed, using only the materials’ physical properties.

Working principle

The working principle of a circular vibrating screen is quite simple, which makes it easy to operate. The crucial parts of the machine include vibrating screens, exciter, motor, screen decks, liners, and side plates.

Vibrating source comes from an exciter that transmits vibration to the screen deck by the connection belts, it makes material shaking and distributing evenly on the screen.

During the vibrating process, the large size of material will stay on the top while the small and fine size material pass the screen mesh to the bottom to get different sizes of materials.

Features

Circular vibrating screen with uniquely robust deck frames are an example of its enhanced durability and reliability. The shaft line is positioned at the center of gravity, a perfect circular motion results on all points on the screen.

Combined with an adjustable slope angle from 12-22° this circular motion gives very good screening efficiency for all types of applications, such as primary, technical and final screening. The weld-free crossmember sections reduce the risk of fatigue stress and optimize the product lifetime.

In addition, the vibrating screen has weld-free side plates, which increases the screen's durability and stress tolerance. Huck-bolting gives perfect and homogeneous assembling conditions and eliminates the risk of detachment.

Size for size, the circular vibrating screens are often the most economical in terms of capital expenditure and power consumption compared to other types of screens.
