Introduction
Deya Machinery apron feeder design has stood the test of time even under the harshest conditions in applications to the mining industry.
It provides steady, controlled feed for downstream processing, improving production and allowing for more predictable maintenance of processing equipment. They can be installed horizontally or at an incline, and placed at any point in a material handling set up, before or after a primary crusher.
Ideally suited for feeding large, lumpy, abrasive and heavy materials during wet, sticky or frozen operations, also for a number of mineral processing applications, such as metals mining or quarrying, at the surface or underground. They efficiently feed material of different sizes and densities, from dry and abrasive to wet and sticky.
The apron feeder consists of uniform overlapping pans attached on to chains or joined by integral links to form an endless conveying medium that travels over supported rollers.
The underside of these pans is reinforced to withstand impact and pressure.
Applications
• Open pit or underground mines
• Mobile, semi-mobile and stationary installation
• Hopper discharge, primary or secondary crushing stage (feed of crusher or scalping screen), discharge of crusher
