2. Working principle
When the Symons cone crusher is working, the motor drives the eccentric sleeve through the v-belt, pulley, transmission shaft, small bevel gear and large bevel gear. The axis of the crushing cone rotates and moves under the compulsion of the eccentric sleeve, it makes the mantle surface close and leave the surface of bowl liner at times, the material is continuously crushed by extrusion impact and bending in the crushing cavity composed by the bowl liner and mantle. After several times of crushing and bending, the material is crushed to the required size and discharged through the lower part.

5. Installation and maintenance
A. Installation and empty run test
1. The equipment should be installed on a horizontal concrete foundation and fixed with anchor bolts.
2. Attention should be paid to the vertical of the main equipment and horizontal during installation.
3. After installation, check whether the bolts of each part, if they are loose, need to be tightened.
4. Configure the power wire and control panel according to the power of the equipment.
5. After checking, carry out empty load test run first, if there is problem can start the production.
6. Always start the lubrication station 5 minutes earlier before starting main motor, and always turn off the main motor 10 minutes earlier before stop the lubrication station.
1. Bearings bear the entire load of the machine, good lubrication has a great influence on bearings’ life, it directly affects the service life of the machine and the operating rate, thus requiring the injection of lubricant must be clean, the seal must be good.
2. The newly installed Symons cone crusher is prone to loosening and must be checked frequently.
3. Pay attention to the normal work of all parts of the machine.
4. Pay attention to check the conditions of wearing parts, and replace worn parts.
5. When bearing oil temperature rise suddenly, or if there is abnormal sound, stop immediately to check the cause and eliminate it before start the crusher again.
