3. Spring cone crusher structures

Spring cone crusher is mainly composed of main frame, transmission device, eccentric shaft, bowl bearing, crushing cone, adjusting device, adjusting sleeve, spring, discharge opening adjusting device, hydraulic station for lubrication, etc.

4. Working principle

The spring cone crusher uses the working surface between the movable cone and the fixed cone to crush the rocks. The movable cone is supported on a spherical bearing and fixed on a suspended vertical shaft, it is placed in an eccentric sleeve, the eccentric in turn is placed on a thrust bearing.

The moving cone is driven by the eccentric sleeve together with the vertical shaft, and the eccentric sleeve is driven by the horizontal shaft via the pulley and the bevel gear. The belt pulley is driven by the motor through triangular belts.

The lower part of the vertical shaft is installed in the eccentric sleeve, and when the eccentric sleeve rotates, a cone surface is formed by the shaft. Therefore, the rock is crushed when the moving cone is close to the fixed cone.

The housing is made up of two parts, which are connected by bolts. Strong springs are attached to the bolts, which is used to prevent damage to the crusher when metal or other hard objects fall into the crushing chamber. After the rocks are crushed, they will be discharged from the bottom part.

It is suitable for fine crushing and ultra-fine crushing of hard rocks, ores, slag, refractory materials, etc.

7. Cautions for spring cone crusher

1. Choose suitable crushing chamber and appropriate feed size.
2. Make sure the material is evenly distributed after entering the crushing chamber.
3. Keeping the discharge opening clear.
4. Reduce sticky materials, because it will reduce the overall productivity.
5. The crushing capacity should meet the belt conveyor’s capacity.
