Hammer crusher hammerhead wearing standards

1. Terms and Definitions

1.1 Standard working conditions of testing

Crushing material stack density of 1.6t/m3, humidity no more than 8%, silica content no more than 2%, compressive strength of 120 MPa ~ 140MPa, limestone without clay.

1.2 Hammerhead wearing rate

The metal wear of the hammer head of a hammer crusher is expressed in g/t for processing each 1 ton material under the specified standard working conditions and crushing ratio.

1.3 Hammerhead wearing grade

The hammerhead wearing grade is a classification method to indicate the hammerhead metal wearing conditions of a hammer crusher. According to this standard, the hammerhead wear is determined and divided into three grades, 1, 2 and 3. Grade 1 indicates the smallest amount of wear, while grade 3 indicates the largest amount of wear.

1.4 Rated grade of hammerhead wearing

When the hammer crusher leaves the factory, the hammerhead wear grade is specified by the hammer crusher manufacturer according to this standard.

1.5 Using rate of material in hammerhead

Under the specified standard working conditions and a certain crushing ratio, the average ratio of the wearable hammerhead material of a hammer crusher.

1.6 Grade of using rate of material in hammerhead

The hammerhead material utilization grade is a classification method to indicate the utilization of hammerhead material of a hammer crusher. According to this standard, hammerhead material utilization is divided into three grades: 1, 2 and 3. Grade 1 indicates the highest utilization rate, while grade 3 indicates the lowest utilization rate.

1.7 Rated grade of using rate of material in hammerhead

When the hammer crusher leaves the factory, the hammerhead material utilization grade is specified by the hammer crusher manufacturer according to this standard.

1.8 Value of reducing of hammerhead wearing

Achieve the material saving and consumption reduction products of maximum hammerhead wear and the minimum hammerhead metal material utilization rate required.

2. Technical requirements

2.1 Hammerhead wearing

Hammerhead wearing should be in accordance with the provisions of following Table.

Hammerhead wearing

2.2 Hammerhead material utilization rate

Hammerhead material utilization rate should be in accordance with the provisions of the following Table

3. Test method

  • 3.1 In the production mine site, which is similar with standard working conditions, check the weight of the scrap hammerhead and the weight of the known new hammerhead, the hammerhead material utilization rate is calculated by the following formula
  • In the formula:
    η—hammerhead material utilization rate, %;
    Q1—Single mass of new hammerhead in kg;
    Q2i—mass of the number of i scrap hammerhead, in kg;
    n — the number of hammerheads in a set of hammer crusher.

  • 3.2 In the calculation of the hammerhead material utilization rate, the total one set of worn out hammerhead weight and the number of crushed materials in tons during this period are obtained by using the following formula to calculate the hammerhead wear value M
  • In the formula:
    M — hammerhead wear, in grams per ton (g/t);
    Q1 — individual mass of new hammerhead in grams (g);
    Q2 — average mass of scrap hammerhead in grams (g)
    W — the total mass of material crushed by a pair of hammerheads, in tons (t);
    n — the number of hammerheads in one set of hammer crusher.

    4. Hammerhead material saving and consumption reduction evaluation value

    The hammer crusher products reaching the grade 3 in first and second table are qualified products, if reach grade 2 or above is called material saving and consumption reduction products.

    5. Inspection Rules

  • 5.1 The hammerhead wear in first Table and the hammer head material utilization in second Table shall be used as the basis for the inspection of the rated grade of the hammer crusher.
  • 5.2 The hammerhead wear and hammerhead material utilization ratings of the hammer crusher shall be calculated by counting one sample machine to meet the standard and rated ratings.
  • 5.3 The hammerhead wear rating and hammerhead material utilization rate rating should reach grade 2 (or higher) at the same time in order to be evaluated as material saving and consumption reduction products.
  • 6. Rated grade marking

  • 6.1 Hammer crusher manufacturers are advised to determine the rated hammerhead wear level and rated hammerhead material utilization rate according to the provisions of this standard and test results.
  • 6.2 The hammer crusher manufacturer shall specify the rated hammerhead wear rating and the rated hammerhead material utilization rating in the attached technical documentation of the product.
